The activity of reducible metal oxide Sm2O3, CeO2, and ZnO as Ni nanoparticles support was investigated for CO2 methanation reaction. carried out between 200 °C to 450 with the optimum catalytic observed at °C. reducibility catalysts has been comparatively studied using H2-Temperature Reduction Temperature (TPR) method. H2-TPR analysis also elucidated formation surface oxygen vacancies temperature above 600 5Ni/Sm2O3 5Ni/CeO2. Sm2O3 showed superior than CeO2 presumably due transition crystalline phases under reducing environment. However, NiZn alloy in 5Ni/ZnO reduced ability catalyze A highly dispersed on created a large metal/support interfacial interaction give 69% conversion 100% selectivity exhibited performances an apparent phase from cubic mixture monoclinic over long reaction, responsible enhanced after 10 h Copyright © 2021 by Authors, Published BCREC Group. Highly active/stable inverse catalysts of nano-oxides on large gold particles are designed and tailored. For the gas-phase oxidation of alcohols as a model reaction, the experimental and theoretical results verify that the catalyst activity depends on the gold-oxide interface, and the anti-sintering feature of such an inverse structure endows the catalyst with high stability.
